The UK Human Functional Genomics Initiative Scientific Symposium, held at The University of Manchester on 25 June 2026, brought together researchers, clinicians, industry partners and early career scientists from across the UK to showcase the latest advances in human functional genomics. Building on the success of the inaugural symposium in 2025, the event featured an outstanding programme of keynote presentations, scientific talks and networking opportunities focused on translating genetic discoveries into biological insights and improved human health.
